I've finished half of the heroes from the main Imperial Assault game.
Fenn Signis
Gideon Argus
Diala Passil
I'm calling Diala finished for now. I'm going to paint a glow effect from the lightsaber, once I figure out how to paint a glow effect.

The Batmobile
I painted this up as a commission for my brother. I like how it's turned out.

Starwars Imperial Asault - Wookie Warriors Unboxing
Time for some good guys. Currently my collection of rebels is mainly heroes. Some wookie warriors ought to do the trick.
You get a double sided sheet with the skirmish and campaign mission maps on it.
You get two wookies that have the same pose.
You get squad identification tokens and stickers.
You get three deployment cards.
You get one side mission card.
You get two side mission cards.
And finally four command cards.

Starwars Imperial Assault - Kayn Somos unboxing
Now my storm troopers have a commander, lets take a look.
You get a double sided sheet with a skirmish map on one side and a campaign mission map on the other.
You get Kayn Somos (I'd be disappointed if I didn't).
You get three agenda cards
You get two skirmish mission cards.
You get two deployment cards.
And finally you get 3 strategy cards.

For the Glory of Rome 11 - Praetorian Cavalry
I'm calling this unit finished for now. Warlord are out of stock on the shield transfers for these guys at the moment, so they're done for now. I need to glue them into the movement tray too, but I'll attach the transfers first (whenever that'll be). It'll be easier to attach the transfers if I can move them around.
Also I hate painting horses.
I'll be using them as knights in my Kingdom's of Men army. It's about time I had a hammer unit for my army of anvils.
Next I think I'll tackle the small mound of Batman miniatures on my desk.

warmachine mk3 - Cryx Battlegroup Unboxing
I've had this sitting around for a month time to do an unboxing. Also we have a guest desk for some of the unboxing.
In the box you get
a mini rulebook
A getting started guide. It's got a story, some painting guides, a tactics guide and a guide on how to expand your box.
A basic training guide. If you're new to Warmachine read this first.
A very robust double sided play mat. The other side has numbered points on it that coincide with the quickstart guide.
The worlds shittiest paper ruler. Get yourself a cheap tape measure to replace this. It'll do to begin with but it'll wear out quite quickly.
A bag of focus token and spell effects.
Four dice. This is about the maximum number of dice you need to play Warmachine.
A stack of stat cards. One for every miniature in the box.
The cards for the jacks
Agathia the warcaster.
And the reverse
You also get a card like this, which...
builds a wall. This is now in the bin as I have better terrain in my collection. However it is used in the quick start guide and will be useful to someone starting out who doesn't have any terrain yet.
The miniatures come in wee bags.
And now back to my desk.
Here's the four miniature built.
Agathia the Bane Witch. I like her skirt made out of tortured souls... spooky. She also has a huge axe.
The Deathripper, aka the bone chicken. The standard Cryx bonejack.
The Reaper. This helljack has a harpoon gun that it uses to real in it's victims, which it then batters with it's helldriver (that big spikey thing).
And finally the Slayer. This is the workhorse Helljack of the Cryx forces. It batters things with it's deathclaws and... well that's it's thing. This one needs a little greenstuff on the top plate, there must have been a pour gate on the top, which has left a hole once it was removed.
These battleboxes are a great way for new players to get into the game. They have everything a new player needs to start out. Everything but an an opponent. They're also great for veterans too. You get some reinforcements for your army and a brand new caster to try out.
