I've now finished all my Death Guard plastics.
I've no idea how effective that lot will be. I would like to add a few plagueburst crawlers and some blightlord terminators, but they will have to wait until after Christmas. Speaking of Christmas I'll be getting Mortarion from my parents, so there's that. I'm also keeping an eye out on Wargames Exclusive for their version of typhus to drop. That miniature is gorgeous, and I've wanted it ever since they teased it a few moths ago.
Lets have a look at my last two characters starting with a malignant plaguecaster
now the noxious blightbringer
I still have a second lord of contagion to glue up, but I'm waiting until I get a unit of deathshroud. I want the spare scythe blade from that kit so I can convert him to have a man reaper.
So what's next? Now I'm going to tart up all my old plague marines to bring them up to the same standard. I might paint up something else so I don't get Death Guard burnout.

Death Guard - Tallyman
Finally something that's not from Dark Imperium. My anxiety was playing up pretty bad a couple of weeks ago, and I was passing a GW store and I thought "Fuck it! I'm sick of feeling shitty" so I decided to treat myself. After the dude in the shop tried to sell me on Typhus and failed (he looks like he's trying to scare kids out his garden) I settled on Tallyman.
Let's look at him.

Death Guard - Second Foetid Bloat Drone
That's bloat drone number two done. I've done different colours on the flesh to help tell the two of them apart.

Death Guard - More Plague Marines
That's the next batch of plague marines done. I'm working on the second foetid bloat drone, a second malignant plaguecaster and the second noxious blight bringer. I've also got a tallyman primed and ready to go.

Death Guard - how I paint noxious smoke
Tutorial time!
In this tutorial I'll be doing a step by step on how I paint the noxious smoke on my Death Guard. I'll be using paints from Games Workshop for this tutorial.
Step 1:
Apply two thin coats of Rakarth Flesh to the smokey areas.
Step 2:
Drybrush the raised areas with Pallid Wych Flesh.
Step 3:
Apply a glaze of Lamentors Yellow to the entirety of the smoke. For some reason I decided to turn the model round for the remainder of the photos.
Step 4:
Using a fine brush apply a wash of Coelia Greenshade to the recessed areas of the smoke. Try to avoid the raised areas and you're good.
And that's it in four easy steps.
