Rise of the Kage and Docks of Ryu unboxing

My Rise of the Kage kickstarter stuff came today.  I think it's pretty awesome.  It's about ninjas so it's definitely awesome..  I've not learned the rules yet, but that's next to do on my hit list.  Lets take a look.

First the Rise of Kage core game.

Inside we get

A rules manual with kick ass cover art.  A shuriken flying towards some dude's eye and the reflection of a ninja throwing it.

A double sided game board.  It's about 2 feet by 2 feet.

A double sided boss dashboard.

Tokens and doors.

Double sided ninja dashboards.
Bases for the doors.
Some cards.  I think some are equipment and others are events.

A bag of dice.

A big bag of dudes.

Some lady samurai.  The game is set in the world of Bushido, so you get lady samurai.

The hero ninjas.

Thin guards and fat guards.  I'm going to have to reset the spears.
Unarmoured samurai.

Armoured samurai.

Guard dog.

The Daimyo.  The dude the ninjas are trying to kill.

So what about the Docks of Ryu expansion.

You get a double sided sheet with the mission layouts on it.

Another double sided board.

Another double sided boss board.  One side is blank, maybe for custom bosses.

More double sided ninja boards.  Again one side is blank.

More cards.

More ninjas.

Fishermen.

Dock thugs.

Some better armed thugs.  Perhaps they're ronin.  It doesn't matter, they have monkeys on their shoulders.

The dock boss.  He's got a wee lean, which means I'm going to have to reset his ankles.

Also I got a mystery box
Mystery box.

It's full of dudes in a different state of alert.  And stealth mode ninjas.  Basically it's full of different coloured duplicates.
