Conan - Giant Wolves & Pirates

I've painted up a few baddies from Conan, not because I planning on playing Conan, but because I needed wolves and bandits for D&D.

Giant Wolves

A vicious pack of not so giant wolves.  I mean they're big, but I'd expect a gaint wolf to be bigger.  I've done to different colours just for variety.

Pirates

I've tried to use bright colours on the pirates.  I mean why wouldn't a pirate want to show off their wealth.  I quite like these pirates, theyd work for a variety of game genres and time periods.  I'll be using them in D&D as bandits and probably actually as pirates too.

Conan - The Picts

There aren't Picts in the historical sense.  Picts in Conan's world are brutish primitives.  These are all the same sculpt, so aside from the group shot I'll just show one of them.

Conan extras - Demon Of the Earth

Next in the unboxing line is the Demon of the Earth.  I'm pretty sure this is a kickstarter excludive.

Inside is the demon of the earth

and it's over lord tiles, two are in English and two are french.  This thing rolls 4 orange dice on the attack, which is going to hurt.

Conan extras- Vanir Valkyrie

Lets get this straight.  This is Red Sonja.  The backers of the kickstarter wanted Red Sonja, but Monolith said no, she's not part of the Conan-verse.  But the backers insisted, so Monolith made a "not Red Sonja" in the form of Vanir Valkyrie.

Conan Kickstarter unboxing part 2

I think these are the kickstarter exclusives, but don't quote me on that.  They're not in the base game box so I'm just going on the assumption that I'm right.

The box is as just as rammed as the main game.  On to the contents

A dice bag

A butt load of hero dashboards.  You even get some for the bad guys in case you wanted to run a bad guy game.

A booklet with more scenarios.  You get one in French too.

More dice.  This rectifies the problem with the base game... there wasn't enough.

Equipment and spells.  You get French versions too.

The Thaug.  The Thaug is cool.  Don't mess with the Thaug.

Skull piles, because reasons.

Tentacles.   There's ten of them.

Alternate guard sculpts.  there's five of these. 

Pict archers, there's also five of these.
