Time for another Resurrectionist. This time it's Dr Dufresne. She is one of Wyrd's alternate miniatures. In her case she counts as Dr Douglas McMourning in every way... every way!.
I went with a green dress mainly because I don't use it enough. And because it's dark I decided to go with a more gothic look, hence the the heavy eye shadow and dark purple lipstick. Also I couldn't help playing with the blood effects.

Malifaux - Archie
It's been a while since I've painted any Malifaux, and I really needed a break after all those phalangites. So I painted up Archie for my Resurrectionists.
Look at him, he's so happy with his ice cream (it's mint choc chip and strawberry). He's also wearing wellies.

Malifaux - The Drowned
I've decided to take a wee break from the Romans (mainly because the weather is too crap to do any priming). These guys have been sitting in the queue for a while now. I present to you The Drowned.

The Crossroads Seven - Sloth
The second member of the Crossroads Seven is complete. I present to you the Crossroads bassist Sloth.
As you can see he looks like an evil Slash, yet he is Sloth... does that make him Slosh? He's also a resurrectionist, he's covered in stitches and stuff.

Corpse Tokens for Malifaux
I made myself some corpse tokens for use in my games of Malifaux. They're dead easy to make, and cheap too.
These are made by sticking some plastic gravestones from Renedra (I've still got loads left) to some spare bases. I then painted them with a dark grey and drybrushed a lighter grey. The bases were then done in games workshops stirland mud textured paint (I love stirland mud, it's awesome). I then drybrushed the base with an earthy brown. And to finish off I glued a load of grass tufts to them.
Cheap, quick and easy.

Body of Evidence
Here's my assembled body of evidence crew. McMourning is going to be my primary master as he's my favorite
The whole gang. The bases are from Fenris Games
Dr Douglas McMourning the guild coroner of Malifaux and secret resurrectionist.
McMourning's nurses
The zombie chihuahua (the hardest mother f****r I've ever had to put together, it's in 4 f*****g pieces) and a canine remains.
Sebastian the mortician's assistant. Check out his bone saw.
A flesh construct.
And the rear view.
I'm using these guys on Wednesday. I haven't played Malifaux in ages, but I'm looking forward to it. I've almost finished painting the samurai. I'm tempted to get another three and go for a power rangers theme.
