The Fresh Prince of Belle Reve

I finished the will Smith version of Deadshot the other day.  Apologies for the dark pictures, my lighting isn't greet.

He's pretty 2-dimensional.

Gamewise he's an excellent area denial piece.  He has 3 guns, with a grand total of 4 ammo, which means he will be shooting something for most of the game.  He's got various abilities that make him better at shooting, however he has a unique ability that is terrifying.  Bullet Time.  This is a one use ability that allows him to shoot twice in one round with different weapons.  He still has to pay the AC to do the attacks and the ammunition, but that's a small price to pay for the versatility.  If you shoot a tough enemy and fail to kill him, shoot him again.  Alternatively you stand a decent chance of incapacitating a couple of henchmen.  The downside to him he's a bit pricey.

Katana (Comic Version)

This version of Katana was much easier to assemble, and is almost as dynamically posed.  But she still suffers from her Soultaker Katana being a bit on the short side.  Rules wise she's slightly better, although unlike the other can explode if taken in The Suicide Squad and the shit hits the fan.

Katana (Suicide Squad verion)

Another one down, this time the hardest miniature in the whole box to assemble, Katana.  I think this miniature is okay, I like the pose, but I think they could have made the sword a couple of mil longer, it looks a tad too small.

Time for Pandamonium!

This here is the main reason I bought the Suicide Squad.  Panda Man.  Isn't he awesome?

Deadshot (comic book version)

Before I start I would just like to say that I had to use my Kings of War rulebook as a backdrop.  Deadshot's head was camouflaged against my usual white one.

This version of Deadshot is armed with a sniper rifle, which gives him a different role to the Arkham Origins version, who is a mid ranged support character.  This version of Deadshot excels in killing people from very far away.  He gets bonuses to hit, has night vision through his scope, which allows him to ignore ping rolls.  Should the target survive (which if he gets a critical hit is unlikely) his obsessive rule means he can't attack anyone else until the target is dead or K.O. So you could say the statement "trespassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again" is very fitting for him.

I intend to use him in my Scarecrow gang and Suicide Squad as an area denial piece.  I unfortunately can't use him with my Joker gang because of his hates; Joker rule.

Batman Miniatures Game Battle Report - Bane vs Teen Titans vs Suicide Squad

Another three way battle report.  This time we've left Gotham and gone to the island of Lian-Yu.  We were playing the Chance Encounter (with an extra turn) mission from the main rule book but using the Lian-Yu rules from the Flash and Green Arrow expansion.  The game was 450 reputation and $1500 funding.

We rolled for fog and didn't get any.

Killer Frost and Starfire fight over an ammo crate while Bane and his boys close in.  Also note the the "loot tree" in the top right corner.
Deadshot is hemmed in by Nightwing, Ravager and Smash.  He then proceeds to put a big hole in Sarfire.
Killerfrost gets murdered.  Deadshot gets double teamed by Nightwing and Ravager. Amanda Waller detonates his cranial bomb.  Red Hood takes up possition, while Copperhead tries to wail on him and fails.
Copperhead gets shot a bit, and flails ineffectually at Red Hood some more.
The titan thug tries to take on Deathstroke who turns round and kicks the shit out of him.  Harley sneaks in through the melee.
Kid Flash grabs some loot and whizzes around the board for the rest of the game.  I hate that wee bastard.
Grundy tries to take on Deathsroke and whiffs his roles.
Harley steals some ammo.
Dallas denies the objective and Copperhead explodes.

TNT and Smash make sure nobody takes their ammo crate.
Harley isn't taking any of his shit.
Bane chases Red Hood.
This dick hea... I mean Kid Flash hides in the corner.
Nightwing gets creamed.  A Seathstroke detonates.

I forgot to take pictures for the rest of the game.  Not that much happened, the remaining Titans kept running away frrom Banes gang and Harley and Grundy wailed on each other for a bit.

The final result was Bane 65, Teen Titans 45 and Suicide Squad 15.

What I learned from this game was that the Suicide Squad doesn't work very well in multiplayer games, and Copperhead sucks.  The jungle was very fun to play in though.
