The Harvest part 9 - Bloodletters

These ones  are on the new bigger bases, which make them look bigger and more brutal.  I'm actually pretty chuffed with myself, because I cranked them all out in an evening.

My usual polystyrene backdrop broke, so I had to use an envelope.  I might go back and put a few more grass tufts on them later.  I'm currently running low, so I'm rationing them.  Time for some close ups.

For the Glory of Rome 12 - Maximus Russell Croweius

This will be the my lost blog for a couple of weeks, I'm moving house.  This is Warlord Games "Unleash Hell".  It's supposed to be Maximus from the film Gladiator, although I think it looks a bit more like a thin Brian Blessed. I'm using him as The Captain in my Kingdoms of Men army.

Conan - The Picts

There aren't Picts in the historical sense.  Picts in Conan's world are brutish primitives.  These are all the same sculpt, so aside from the group shot I'll just show one of them.

Druids

Taking a wee break from my batman stuff, I've decided to paint a couple of druids from Reaper Miniatures.  I plan to uses these in Dungeon Saga and D&D.

Harley Thug 4

The next addition to my Joker force is done.  This one is Harley Thug 4.  Why is he called Harley Thug 4?  I'd assume it because he's a nameless henchman that works for Harley Quinn, the fourth one to be exact.  Anyhoo he's a clown with a big wrench.

The Killing Joke

Another Joker down, this one is The Killing Joke version.  If you haven't read The Killing Joke you should, it's fantastic.  This is also my favorite Joker sculpt that Knight Models has produced thus far.  He needs a coat of matt varnish to take the shine off, but other than that I 'm pretty happy with him.

Oh no! Not another clown!

Another clown done for my Joker gang.  It's becoming more of an army than a gang.  This dude is armed with a pipe.  It's actually called a tube on his character card, but that sounds a bit wimpy, pipe sounds much harder.
