I've been making more terrain for the club. This time in the form of trees, actually I shrunk a few down, so technically some are bushes. I'm going to need scale dark eldar's help for this.
These two trees are from the Model Tree Shop. They're at the pricier end of the tree spectrum, but i thing the look damn good. Obviously one is much larger than the other.
The rest of these came from ebay... or amazon... or both, I forget which. These are just cheap model railway trees repurposed for wargaming.
The bases are spare bits from a mdf chemical tank kit. I've no idea why the decided to design it so it was actually hollow, but hey, free bases.
This little lot are ready to go to their new home at the Five Arches Wargames Club.

Operation End Times no 21 Mannfred Von Carstein, Mortarch of Night
I finally got around to painting Mannfred. He's been sitting next to my desk for three months waiting to get painted. And now he's painted he can grace the battlefield.
So who wants to see some pictures?
Well that's the last of the Mortarchs. Just need to keep plodding through the units.
Just a quick point on Age of Sigmar. I wont be playing it. The miniatures look hideous. I'm going to continue playing 8th edition Warhammer Fantasy. And Games Workshop can shove their round bases up their collective arses.

Product Review, Deep Cuts Studio Cobblestone Mat
A bought a cobblestone gaming mat from Deep Cuts Studio and I though I'd do a wee review. I got the 3 foot by 3 foot version for use in the Batman Miniatures Game. Here's what it looks like.
Looks pretty awesome from a distance, but close up it looks even better.
The cobbles are all uneven sizes for that more realistic look. It even has manholes.
Here it is with some scenery on it. I lost that game by the way. You may notice some curling at the edges. That's because I put its tube the wrong way round, not to self roll it face side outwards.
The mat is exceptionally good quality. It's tough and is textured on the reverse for grip. It's cheap too. I'd recommend one.

The Harvest part 6 Bloodletters
I finished a second group of bloodletters for my Harvest army. There's a few gaps in them, but meh, it wont be too noticeable on the tabletop.
The close ups
some closer close ups
I lost this guys head, so I got him a new one from Heresy Miniatures.
Standard Bearer
An old metal bloodletter that I'm using as a bloodreaper. He's in charge because he's the beefiest.

The Harvest part 5 Chaos Space Marines
I finished a squad of chaos marines and an extra guy with a plasma pistol. Forgetting that chaos marine squads can't have two plasma pistol guys in the squad when I started painting them, hence the extra guy. These are repaints of some of my old guys so please excuse any mould lines I missed.
And the other guy

The Harvest part 4 Skull Cannon
I finished my Skull Cannon. It's been sitting on my desk, half finished, for the better part of of three weeks. I'm probably only going to use it as a summon until I paint enough daemons to make a charnel cohort formation.

The Harvest part 3 Cannon Fodder
I've spent the past few days painting up some cultists for my Harvest army. 17 in all. Why 17? Well that's because that's how many I had to hand. So here's a mixed bag of cultists, traitor guardsmen and mutants.
some close ups
Here is a converted cultist, made from an empire flagellant and a catachan lasgun. A converted mutant, made from the rest of a catachan and a chaos spawn tentacle. A Forge World traitor guardsmen with a flag. A bog standard games workshop cultist. And finally a Forge World traitor guard with a vox caster.
Here's another GW cultist and 4 more converted robed guys. The guy in the middle has a flamethrower.
Here's another converted mutant made from a catachan, an orc cleaver and a skaven head, and more GW cultists.
And finally some more robed conversions.
So what are cultists used for? Well they're good at catching bullets... with their faces. Their only purpose is to die, to get the blood tithe point. If they kill something back it's a bonus.
