I was in my local Games Workshop the other day and spotted one of these sitting on a shelf, all on it's lonesome. So I grabbed it, you can't get these anywhere, they sold out really fast. I was surprised to see it there and I'm genuinely chuffed to have one.
So what do you get in it?
Bags of stuff. Not sprues, bags.
Now lets build this thing
stage one: the central column and the top platform.
stage two: the central structure. This was a colossal pain in the hole to put together. I couldn't get the floor level. It's going to need a bit of greenstuff.
stage three: more walls added to the middle. since the floor was squint the walls are now squint. This is going to need a lot of green stuff.
Stage four: the gun. This is the coolest part and was the easiest piece to assemble.
stage five: the lid is on.
the finished thing.
Rules wise it's pretty awesome, and quite cheap for it's points. The rules are on the instructions.
The plasma obliterator is an awesome piece of kit, even if it is a pain in the arse to assemble. It'll be getting most of it's use next to my Spacewolves.

Valpurgius
I took a little bit of time out of my chaos space marines to paint something that wasn't 40k related. I decided my Dark Legion for Warzone needed a bit of work so I painted Valpurgius. Valpurgius is my favorite miniature in the dark legion range so I wanted to do him justice. I've gone along a similar theme for him as my characters for my undead legion for warhammer fantasy, which I think he suits. I forgot to tidy the edges of his base before I took the pictures, I'll rectify that later.

OBLITERATE!
Here are the obliterators that I will be using in my upcoming league. These are done in my Maledict Brotherhood scheme and throughout the league will be sporting the Mark of Nurgle. I'll be running them in 3 quads of two, if I had the points I'd run 3 quads of 3, also I only own 8 of them so that'd be hard even if I wanted to. I still need to finish the bases but other than that they're done.
some close ups, well as close as I could get, my camera doesn't like focusing on these guys.
first couple
second couple
he's totally not over compensating
third couple
I got most of my obliterators on ebay, and unfortunately most of the weapon options were missing so I improvised by raiding my bitz box, hence the unusual armaments on some of them.
Some would say that 6 obliterators in a 1500 point list might be a bit overkill, but I say there's no kill like the overkill. Mercy is for the weak!

Chaos Rhinos
Well I'm not dead. I've been busy lately. Busy painting. Busy painting rhinos. Oh god do I hate painting space marine tanks. If I hadn't needed them for a league they would be still grey and would remain that way for a long time. Anyway enough whinging here's the tanks.
All 3 have been done in my Maledict Brotherhood colour scheme. All 3 rhinos have a dirge caster upgrade and not a lot else. I've tried to make them all look different.
Rhino number 1
This one has a load of chains attached to skulls, a spikey coupola ring and a front mounted dirge caster.
Rhino number 2.
This one has longer chains, a spikey ram, and a couple of chaos stars on the sides.
And finally rhino number 3
This one has a different ram and big meat hooks.
Now I just need to do the obliterators and base all the infantry.

Necrothrall's Super Dungeon; The Questing Knight
I took a break from painting my chaos space marines (so much black), so I thought I'd start a few of my super dungeon explore minis. Here is my first installment, the Questing Knight. I'm not overly good at the cartoony stuff but I think he turned out alright.
Next up the Thundervale Huntress (she's a centaur).

Nurgle Daemon Prince
I've spent the past few nights beavering away at my Spellcrow plague prince. And now he's finished and ready to lead my troops into battle.
He was quite fun to paint. He's got a lot of varied textures and was the perfect candidate to use GW's "Blood for the Blood God" blood effect paint. I've done him in my Maledict Brotherhood, black and bone colour scheme.

Super Dungeon Explore The Forgotten King Part 2
Who wants to see some minis? Just a wee disclaimer before I get to the good stuff. I don't know exactly what everything is at present. I'll get to their real names once I've painted them.
The heroes.
The pets. I like the cat and the chicken.
Treasure
Rabid Squirrels
The Forgotten King, a couple of big dudes and some boo booties.
A bunch of plant dudes. Some are armed with carrots.
A bunch of bird dudes. All the foot knights are ducks.
Some assorted... erm things.
Some sort of troll looking dudes.
A troll hero.
Some witches, ghosts, toads and a big chuffing spider.
Acrylic hearts and potions.
Some wee dudes armed with onions. I've got the makings of a stew here.
Some heroes and villains. Most of the appear to be variations on Candy and Cola, Sodapop's dynamic duo.
