Huntress

I took some time out from painting my Roman cavalry to paint up some of my Batman collection.  My Green Arrow crew hasn't had much love lately, and Huntress has been lying on my desk for ages, so I decided she'd be next.

I really should finish Harley, I started her almost  a year ago.

For the Glory of Rome - 10 Aquilifer

Here is the bearer of the Aquila.  And looking at him he looks a bit wizardy.  So since Kings of War is a fantasy game.  I've decided to use him as a wizard.  But he does have the Aquila so he's a wizard with the inspiring talisman.  Now to think up a suitable title for him.  Priest of Mars.  I think I'll give him the bane chant spell.

Star Wars Imperial Assault - Stormtroopers

Now onto the regular stormtroopers.  I painted these in the same way as the heavy ones.

Yup there's nine of them.  So I'm only going to do close ups for three of them.

Just the e-web engineers to go and then that's all the white armoured guys done.

Starwars Imperial Assault - Heavy Stormtroopers

These were intimidating to paint.  I've always found painting white intimidating.  But I mustered my courage and gave it  a shot, and I don't think I did too bad.  I primed the stormtroopers with a white spray.  I then painted all the gaps in the armour, the backpacks and the guns with Mechanicus Standard Grey and gave the whole miniature a heavy wash of Nuln Oil.  I applyied a second wash of Nuln Oil to the guns and backpacks once the first had dried.  After that had dried I went and highlighted the armour with white, being careful to leave the black showing in the recesses.  I then painted the bases grey because I've no idea as what to do with them.

For the Glory of Rome #8 Centurion

My Romans need some leadership, and what better leadership than a badass centurion.  In my Kingdom's of Men army I'm using him as a general.
