Kings of War Dwarfs #3 Ironblecher Organ Gun

I'm determined to get a Kings of War army to 2000 points, so I thought I'd push my Dwarf army closer to that point.

So why did I choose and organ gun over the other artillery choices? Purely for the volume of fire.  All the other artillery choices fire a single shot, granted that single shot does multiple damage.  That sounds pretty good, but you need to remember that they only hit of a 5+, which means they're only hitting a third of the time, or about twice a game.  The organ gun fires  fifteen shots... a turn, which when we mathhammer it means five hits per turn. That's far more consistent.  Granted each hit is less destructive, but I'm primarily going to be using hit to soften up enemy battle line units, or completely evaporate chaff units.  If I add another, I could cause a bit of a mess.

Easy to build Plague Marines

I bought some more smelly boys to add to my forces.  They're the first part of a master plan to add  more plague marine squads to my force.  It's a long term plan that may span a couple of years.  So lets have a look at the start of this ambitious plan.

Bolter guy

The glue hasn't dried yet, I'm impatient.  Basic bolter armed plague marine, walks forward, shoots stuff, hard to hurt, the usual.


Plague Champion

He's mean, he has a mouth in his chest, he has a plasma gun and a power fist.  He was fun to paint.


Blight Launcher dude

He's got a big gun.  Blight launchers seem to be reliable weapons for pinging damage off vehicles and instagibbing primaris marines.  They're also plague weapons and get to reroll 1's to wound, which is nice.

Painting Mythic Battles Pantheon part 19

The Poseidon expansion is finished.  Or should that be the Scylla expansion?  She is on the box art and dominates a full third of the box.  Regardless here she is, I hope you like tentacles.

She's not just one miniature, she's nine.  She's not just one unit in the game either, she's five.  She's also the reason I backed the kickstarter in the first place.  Look at how cool she is.... LOOK AT HER!... but don't stare at her boobs you pervs.

I will revisit her at a later date and do some fancier water effects along with Poseidon.

Once the storm subsides, I'll get the judges of the underworld primed.
