Blightlord Terminators

Finally my Death Guard have an elites choice that isn't a character.  Some big smelly boys ready to take to the field.

Easy to build Plague Marines

I bought some more smelly boys to add to my forces.  They're the first part of a master plan to add  more plague marine squads to my force.  It's a long term plan that may span a couple of years.  So lets have a look at the start of this ambitious plan.

Bolter guy

The glue hasn't dried yet, I'm impatient.  Basic bolter armed plague marine, walks forward, shoots stuff, hard to hurt, the usual.


Plague Champion

He's mean, he has a mouth in his chest, he has a plasma gun and a power fist.  He was fun to paint.


Blight Launcher dude

He's got a big gun.  Blight launchers seem to be reliable weapons for pinging damage off vehicles and instagibbing primaris marines.  They're also plague weapons and get to reroll 1's to wound, which is nice.

Death Guard - Typhus, Herald of Nurgle

I finally got my Typhus, and I've painted him already.  As you may know I hate the plastic Typhus mini that GW brought out.  It looks like he's shooing kids out of his swamp.  I was just going to use my old metal one, that was when Grimskull Studio (distributed by Wargame Exclusive) brought out this bad boy.

He looks a lot more menacing than the GW one.  I believe the actual mini is called the chaos hive bringer.  He comes with optional weapons in the form of a pair of sickles.   The scythe is cooler and more menacing.

Death Guard - Mortarion Primarch of the Death Guard

It's taken me a couple of weeks, but I've finally finished him.  Behold the Arch Contaminator.

He's so contagious that the very ground beneath him is becoming diseased.  Now that's hard core.  It's also the reason I haven't added any grass tufts to the base.  Like all good Nurgle miniatures (he's nearly a foot tall, miniature might be the wrong word) he's got a plethora of nurglings.  I've tried to keep him as drab as possible hence the brown moth wings.

Second plagueburst crawler done.  STANK TANK!  This one has green pipes.

Now that's enough procrastinating time to paint Mortarion.
