The blog is back

I didn't really paint a whole lot last month.  The majority of my gaming revolving around X-Wing, Call of Cthulhu, D&D and a hint of cards against humanity.  However with me staring a new campaign of Quest tomorrow I should be getting back into my regular routine.

So what have I painted I hear you ask? Well I'll show you.
Another 20 red coats.  That makes 40 so far, which is if I remember correctly about two thirds... or maybe half.  I've got another couple of bases half done.  I also started to assemble these...
ZULUS! The ones in this picture are married Zulus.  These are the first of many.  I think they turned out alright.  And they're much quicker to paint up than the British.
A chaos dwarf sorcerer that a friend gave me.  He's a limited edition Forge World miniature from Gamesday a few years back.  And he's going to be featuring in my new Quest campaign.

Having played a game of 40k at an International Tabletop Day event I thought I might do a bit of work on my daemons.  So I painted up one of my blood crushers.

Meet Harry the Bastard, the first player of my new Necromantic Bloodbowl team.  One of the guys at my club is planning a Bloodbowl tournament later in the year, and I'm growing bored of my Skaven and I want to win it so that rules out my goblins, hence the new team.  They play in black, mostly have pun names and go by the team name of the Drakwald Draugr.

Lastly is a Skorne cyclops savage from warmahordes that I'm doing as part of a commission.I think he's turned out alright.  I'm currently working on Tyrant Xerxes, who is actually of my favorite Skorne warlock.
Well that's it for me, until next time, happy wargaming.
