Nurgle Daemon Prince

I've spent the past few nights beavering away at my Spellcrow plague prince.  And now he's finished and ready to lead my troops into battle.

He was quite fun to paint.  He's got a lot of varied textures and was the perfect candidate to use GW's "Blood for the Blood God" blood effect paint.  I've done him in my Maledict Brotherhood, black and bone colour scheme.

Super Dungeon Explore The Forgotten King Part 2

Who wants to see some minis?  Just a wee disclaimer before I get to the good stuff.  I don't know exactly what everything is at present.  I'll get to their real names once I've painted them.

The heroes.

The pets.  I like the cat and the chicken.
Treasure
Rabid Squirrels
The Forgotten King, a couple of big dudes and some boo booties.
A bunch of plant dudes.  Some are armed with carrots.
A bunch of bird dudes.  All the foot knights are ducks.
Some assorted... erm things.
Some sort of troll looking dudes.
A troll hero.
Some witches, ghosts, toads and a big chuffing spider.
Acrylic hearts and potions.
Some wee dudes armed with onions.  I've got the makings of a stew here.
Some heroes and villains.  Most of the appear to be variations on Candy and Cola, Sodapop's dynamic duo.

Super Dungeon Explore The Forgotten King

The first part of my Super Dungeon Explore Kickstarter arrived today.  And I have to say it's awesome.  Lets have a look.

The box.  Inside you get 3 books.

The arcade book, which is the rules.
You get the explorer's handbook.  This is full of the background of the world of Crystallia.

 It's full of awesome artwork.
And you get the classic mode rule book so you can play it old school.
The ever handy quick start rules.
A pamphlet of other Soda Pop miniatures products.
A block of cardboard, which consists of
Two sheets of tokens
and 6 double sided board tiles.
You also get a bunch of stat cards and treasure, as well as what I'd assume was an A.I. deck.
Super dice
A box full of minis
All of which are ready built
I also got a kickstarter exclusive boo! booty box. which contains
A kickstarter exclusive colouring in book.

COLOURING IN!

Cards for using all of the original super dungeon monsters so that you can use them with the new rules.
And even more minis.

I think this has enough pictures in it. My next blog will feature close ups of all the minis.

Spellcrow Plague Prince Unboxing

I recently decided that I would use a Nurgle daemon prince to lead my forces in an upcoming league at my club.  I scoured the interweb for a decent candidate that could fly. I stumbled upon this guy from Spellcrow, and the sell an upgrade that will allow him to fly.

Lets look at some stuff.

 Humongous jump pack.
They sent me this add on pack for free (its worth nearly £5).  It also saves me having to convert a black mace for him too.  Spellcrow are awesome.

He went together pretty easily, with not too many mould lines.  There were a few small vent, but they were pretty easy to remove.
Scale shot.  He's big but not massive.
The left over bits.  These are actually the original head and weapon that comes with the kit.

Now to get him painted.
