Well I couldn't not paint another Joker. This one painted up the nicest out of all of them.
He's actually my favorite Joker miniature thus far. I might have to stop using the Arkham City version in favor of this one.
Here he is with his boys.

The Killing Joke
Another Joker down, this one is The Killing Joke version. If you haven't read The Killing Joke you should, it's fantastic. This is also my favorite Joker sculpt that Knight Models has produced thus far. He needs a coat of matt varnish to take the shine off, but other than that I 'm pretty happy with him.

Master of Ceremonies
The Master of Ceremonies (who for the rest of the article will be called Jim for easiness) is one of Joker's elite clowns. He's actually the better of the two. Jim's quite a big dude compared to the rest of the clowns and sports some armour and an axe. He means business.

Why So Serious?
For my last post of 2016 I thought I 'd do my Heath Ledger version of the Joker. He's a mini I've wanted for ages but never got around to buying. Luckily I got him for Christmas. He was really enjoyable to paint, and didn't take too long. He just needs a coat of matt varnish to take the shine off.
With that I shall wish you a happy new year and I hope 2017 is good to you.

Dungeon Saga: Orc Warriors
First of all happy new year, I hope you all had a merry festive period. Secondly the power supply on my computer blew between Christmas and New Year, so I've had a backlog of blogs to catch up on.
Shall we get down to it? In this installment we have orcs for dungeon saga. Like the goblins, skeletons and zombies there are two sculpts for them. And I think they look rather cool.
Lets look at the dual wield orcs first
As cool as it looks I don't advocate dual wielding. It's a sure fire way to get you killed with no benefit to the user. However in dungeon saga all orc warriors have the same stats regardless of what they're armed with so it doesn't matter.
Now those are more sensible weapons. Slow but packs a punch. But again has no in game benefit.
Now what to do next? Perhaps I should make a start on my Christmas haul.

Clowns of Anarchy
I said Borgon is next and here he is.
Borgon is a biker clown. Just look at the way he's dressed. He's also in my mind an old dude that's stung out on meth.
Borgon is one of the clowns I always take. He's big, tough and hits really hard (when I don't roll a tonne of 1's for damage). His demented laugh is great for lowering the defense of an enemy (take that Batman). In the last game I played with him he pulped Alfred. His sturdy rule makes him that little bit harder to slow down. He has the brutal rule making that critical hit that little bit easier to obtain. By in large Borgon does me proud (except when I'm having a case of the 1's).
Who's next in my rogues gallery? I'm thinking Solomon Grundy.

A funny kind of stick up
I've been playing quite a bit of the Batman Miniatures game lately, and in my games I always use two specific clowns; Borgon and Triston. Both of which usually do me proud, but neither of them are painted. Time to remedy that.
Here's Triston
He oddly has quite a thin head.
Since all the rest of my Joker's goons thus far have been white I decided it was time for some ethnic diversity. Triston is sporting some Blackgate prison issue trousers, a dirty vest, hiking boots and a clown mask. He is also carrying his trusty shotgun.
When I use Triston I usually play him highly aggressively, yet cautiously. He usually runs up the field behind my shield clown, for protection. Once the enemy are in range I move him around trying to get the best line of fire. The shotgun is pretty nasty when it hits. I'm also not opposed to getting him close to the enemy. His dirty fighter rule allows him to shoot at point blank range.
Up next time, Borgon.

It's Showtime! Bats!
I'll just let this guy speak for himself.
Joker's all ready to play with the Batman. The boss fight in the game may have been shit, but this dude is awesome. I was actually a bit apprehensive about painting him, I really didn't think I could do him justice. I think I succeeded. And at least he isn't red.

Hey Mista J! Do you wanna kill the the Batman?
Finished Harley Quinn last night.
Quite an enjoyably miniature to paint, even if she is incredibly delicate and fiddly. She's not the only one of the Joker's sidekicks I've got. I have a I've got Hammer too as well as three free agents in the form of Scarecrow, Copperhead and Solomon Grundy.

Newest Inmate in the Asylum
Just finished my Joker titan clown. Quite an imposing miniature.
Next up on the panting block Harley Quinn.

Still clowning around
Just finished the last of my Joker starter set, Contra August
I went with a metal bat on him rather than a wooden one, mainly because his baseball bat snapped while I was cleaning the mould lines off. And has since snapped off several times. So it looks a little bent.

Another looney has escaped Arkham
I took a break from painting my redcoats to paint this guy, and thought it warranted an update.
The Ringmaster for my Joker crew. I've one more starter set goon to go, then its onto my titan thug.

The Clown Prince of Crime
Just a quick update to show off my Joker. I really like they way his suit turned out.
I played my first game of Dreadball last week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Which is good because I backed the Dreadball Xtreme kickstater with a few of my friends. Also speaking of kickstarter my Mutant Chronicles Warzone resurrection stuff came last week. I'll be doing a review on it in the next few days, and I'll be playing a game of it on Wednesday. And Finally I have another 24 Anglo-Zulu war redcoats on my desk that are about half done.
